Federico Palomo

He graduated from Rafael Landivar University in 1997. He is an Attorney at Law and Notary, founder partner of Palomo & Porras. In 1997 he made practice in New York, in a prestigious law firm specialized in Maritime Law. He also made specialization studies in Maritime Law at the World Trade Center Institute of Pace University, NY, in 1998.  He also made studies in Madrid, Spain, in Communitarian Law and European Compared Law, making practice at the European Office of United Nations (Geneva, Switzerland) specifically before UNCTAD.

He also held the charge of Secretary of the Attorneys at Law and Notaries’ Association of Guatemala during the 2003-2005 period. In the academic field, he is a Universitarian Professor at the Rafael Landivar University in the Private International Law subject and was a professor of Notarial Law II subject at Francisco Marroquin and Del Itsmo Universities. Also, he is the National Administrator of the student international competition “Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition”.
