Palomo & Porras represents several insurance companies and abroad reinsurance companies in their local operations, also adjuster firms, brokers and insurance departments of national companies. We have advised national companies which have been regionalized regarding negotiations of their contracts and claims of indemnifying before local insurance companies.

Due to the recent enforcement of the Insurance Activity and its Rules Law in Guatemala, we adivise our insurance company clients in restructuring their areas and also in what it is related to the relationship between the insurance company and the regulator entity. Likewise, our firm advises the incorporation of foreign insurance companies in strategic alliances with Guatemalan operators.

In its regional development our firm advises insurance companies with presence in other countries in the area, in what it is related to services and insured claims.
